The planning of UKA i Ås 2024 has begun and we are completely dependent on skilled volunteers! THE PARTY BLOCK

  • Become a force for positive change as environmental coordinator for UKA in Ås! You will be responsible for coordinating cleaning on party nights, but this is an administrative role without work on party nights. There is otherwise contact with our partners in cleaning innovation and cleaning, and to ensure that the organization makes environmentally conscious choices. You will have the opportunity to implement new solutions, so that UKA in Ås becomes an even more environmentally friendly company.   • "As SC Bar-Technical, you serve as the link between the bars and the storage. Alongside bar-technical staff, you oversee Spritsløyfa during events. This involves bringing spirits and ingrediends to the bars and maintaining control over the inventory. Do you enjoy having some extra responsibility to ensure that ""Spritsløyfa"" becomes a tremendous success during the 100th-anniversary celebration of UKA in Ås?   • As a bar-technical volunteer, your role is to contribute to the operation of Spritsløyfa by distributing spirits and ingridients to the bars. Events bring a high-paced environment with a lot to do. You will also work closely with the different student associations and the rest of the bar staff.   • Do you enjoy cooking? Would you like to contribute to making the evening memorable for the partygoers? As a kitchen funkis, you will work in the kitchen as part of the team preparing food for all the event participants during UKA i Ås. THE ADMINISTRATION BLOCK

  • During choir weekend in Ås, over 500 student choristers from all over Norway come to Ås. This weekend includes singing, Psilde breakfast, gala dinner and suprises among other things. As a choir weekend funkis, you will work during the choir weekend and ensure that everything runs smoothly. There will be a lot of people, so here you will get to test your ability to handle time pressure and ensure that everyone is well taken care of. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is organized, solution-oriented, service-minded, and who dares to make their own decisions. Familiarity with choir is not necessary.   • Do you want to ensure that the centennial celebration of UKA i Ås gets the festival opening it deserves? Then you should apply for the position of premiere official! You will be involved in the execution of the premiere nights for UKA i Ås, as well as the administrative work leading up to the events. This involves, among other things, sending out invitations for the various premieres and assisting in decorating and making sure everything is in order for the premieres.   • We will during UKA i Ås 2024 have many different dinners, everything from the great gala dinner Urmiddagen to smaller more intimate dinners. To this we are going to need waiters who are service minded and effective. Your main job will be to serve food and drinks to our guests, while being a part of a great team of waiters.   • Do you want to be an important piece of the gala dinner puzzle? We will, during UKA i Ås 2024, have many different great dinners the guests will never forget. I need someone for the role of SC Stormiddag, where you’ll look after both guests and waiters. You can expect to work alongside the butlers during the larger dinners, while having more independence during the smaller more intimate dinners. You’ll manage the waiters, the time schedule, and be an important piece of the logistics during the serving. Join us in the Stormiddags-gang, and let’s together make some unforgettable evenings! THE EVENT BLOCK

  • Would you like to join an intense weekend filled with lots of fun? We need responsible and solution-oriented volunteers to welcome, entertain, and host visiting guests over a weekend, ensuring they have the best UKEexperience. In return, you'll experience a fun and high-tempo weekend filled with activities. We prefer if you're over 20 years old, so you can participate in Sløyfa. Does this sound exciting to you?   • Would YOU like to participate in deciding the activities that will take place during UKA i Ås 2024? Do you want the possibly most fun, coolest, and most awesome position during UKA i Ås?!   • Would you like to contribute to a good cause, and be part of UKA i Ås at the same time? As SC UKEhjelpa, you make sure UKA i Ås give something back to the society. You’ll be organizing fun events with the purpose of collecting money for charity. We are looking for creative, outgoing people, who want to help contribute!

  • What is UKA in Ås without concerts featuring a fabulous light show? As NC Concert Light, you will be responsible for controlling the lights at concerts. You will gain insight into the overall technical aspect and act as a support to KS Light Technic. You will acquire knowledge about lighting programming, rigging, and much more! Previous experience as a lighting technician may be advantageous, but it is certainly not a requirement. Do you want to be involved in controlling lights at concerts, gain more experience with technical lighting, and have determination? Then this position is for you!   • Would you like to create lighting magic on the stage for the anniversary revue of UKA in Ås? Join the fun of the revue from behind the light board and apply for SC revue lighting! As SC revue lighting, you will be responsible for controlling the lights during the revues. You will experience standing behind the light board and feeling the atmosphere in Aud.Max. You will also acquire knowledge about lighting programming, rigging, and, not least, have a unique experience in the world of revues! Previous experience as a lighting technician may be an advantage, but it is certainly not a requirement. You will receive all necessary training!   • Do you think light seems exciting? Would you like a fantastic and educational volunteer position where you can learn a lot about light and have the best view of concerts and revues? Then you should apply to be a lightfunkis! As a lightfunkis, you will help set up for concerts and revues, as well as assist the NC. On top of that, you'll get concert experiences you won't easily forget and a fantastic insight into the world of revues! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about light, regardless of your previous skills and experience.   • You have the opportunity to work as a sound technician for either the UKA revue or the cool artists who are coming. This involves everything from setting up and taking down before and after the show, to controlling the sound during performances and sound checks.   • Do you think UKErevyen should be more visible on social media? Do you have any ideas on how to market it? After all, it is UKErevye that turns 100 years old! Apply for NK Revypromotion then! You will have the opportunity to follow the revue closely and gain insight into what they are working on, and will then be the link between the marketing block and the revue block. Do you want more videos of the actors, or perhaps they should have shown more of what happens behind the scenes - you now have the opportunity to plan that!   • Do you like to talk, and could you possibly be interested in sharing your voice with the rest of our student society? Then you should apply for the position as and radio functionary for the UKEradio!

    We need two radio functionaries who is eager to dig into the lives of the artists, the participants and everyone who is participating during UKA i Ås, as well as highlighting UKAs prime moments through sound. Your main tasks will mainly be based on covering interviews and events through podcast-production, but you will also get the opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas within the rest of the editorial staff.

  • Do you want to preserve the history that resides within Studentsamfunnet and showcase it to the rest of the world? Do you have podcasts you'd love to listen through (and a bunch of them...)? Do you want to be DONE with your work before UKA even begins? Then you should apply for Image Scanners for the UKA's documentary! We need to digitize material from the dawn of time to be used for the UKEdokumentaren, but also to preserve history for the future, presentations, and exhibitions at Studentsamfunnet. Perhaps you can even learn a bit about the Studentsamfunnet's rich history too? Then apply now!

  • Are you interested in traditions, history and everything about NMBU and its roots? Do you like searching old pictures, vidoes, books and journals to lears and reveal secrets of the past? To celebrate 100 years of UKA i Ås, we are makin a documentary to sum up what the festivals means and has meant to the students of Ås. The archives both at and outside Ås need to be searched to reveal the hidden treasures, such that the documentary can become something that every student at and from Ås can be proud of and acknownledge as a representation of UKA i Ås. THE REVUE BLOCK

  • Do you play the trombone? Do you enjoy playing together with other people? Do you want a creative and fun position during UKA’s 100 year anniversary? UKErevyen is looking for a trombonist who wants to be part of UKEbandet. Applications or questions can be sent to kapellmester@ukaiaas.no.

THE ECONOMY BLOCK

  • As an accounatnt you will join Samfunnet i Ås and pay invoices, do the VAT notice and write the annual accounts for the entire organisations in addition to UKA. If you have any questions or want to send an application, send an email to okonomi@samfunnetiaas.no!

  • As bank-funkis, you will work with one or two people who are responsible for the payment-terminals during the event itself. This involves ensuring that they are operational, and assisting with technical problems. At the end of the evening, a final report must also be submitted for the settlement. If you are conscientious, responsible and technically inclined, bank will be the position for you!
