  • Are you the one who always has a fun fact ready, or loves making questions that make people wonder, laugh, and discuss?
    Then the SC Quiz role is for you!
    As SC Quiz, you get to create and host quizzes on topics of your choice — anything from meme quizzes to geography, film, or something completely new.
    You’ll stand in front of the audience, be the quizmaster, and make sure everyone’s having a great time!

  • Are you the one who always gets people to join in? Whether it’s a relay, volleyball, a scavenger hunt, or something brand new, you’re the one saying, “Come on, this will be fun!”
    Then the SC Activity role is for you!
    As SC Activity, you’ll help plan and carry out fun events together with the rest of the crew.
    You’ll contribute ideas, make things happen, and ensure that people have fun together—both on and off the field.

  • Are you the one who always controls the music at the pre-party? Do you know what gets people on the dance floor, or just have a passion for setting the vibe?
    Then the SC DJ role is for you!
    As SC DJ, you’ll help create the party—setting the mood with great playlists, taking song requests from the crowd, and keeping the energy high all night long.

  • Do you want to be the one who keeps the backstage machinery running smoothly? As a SC Rider, you have full overview and control. You coordinate with the serving-block for alcohol and ensure that rider requirements are planned, ordered, and delivered on time, without stress or chaos. You enjoy systems and Excel, and thrive on having control and responsibility to keep everything backstage flowing seamlessly. If you like structure, teamwork, and being the brain behind backstage logistics, this is the position for you. Become a SC Rider, and be the driving force behind the perfect Ås experience!

  • Do you want to be the one making sure our artists get star treatment? As an SC Artist, you’re the glue between backstage chaos and artist well-being. You handle everything from still water to Kinder Eggs to meals — making sure everything runs smoothly (and that the artists actually want to come back to Ås). If you’re organized, chill under pressure, detail-oriented (and snack-oriented), love meeting people, solving problems, and being where the magic happens — behind the scenes — then this is for you. Become an SC Artist – and give our artists the ultimate Ås experience!

  • Are you a structured, solution-orientated and enjoy palanning events? Do you enjoy planning, coordinating and making sure everything behind the scenes work?                  

    As SC Business Coordinator, will you be able to play a central role in the businessevents of UKA i Ås. You will work closley with CL Business Coordinator to maintain good structure, colaboration and logistics behind events. You will work for good communication, and follow up deals with external actors.                             

    This role fits you who wants to plan events and build relations with a good team! 

  • Would you like to light up UKErevyen 2026? Join the show behind the light table and apply for SC Light Revue. You will experience standing behind the lighting table and help create the atmosphere in the rom. The tasks involve rigging light equipment and controlling lights during the performances, as well as directing the volunteers. You will receive training and acquire knowledge about programming lights, rigging, and also a unique experience in the revue world! It may be advantageous to have previous experience as a lighting technician, but this is not a requirement to apply.   • What is UKA i Ås without concerts with a fabulous light show? As SC Light Concert you will be responsible for concerts during UKA i Ås. You will gain insight into the overall technical part of being a light technician. The tasks involve rigging light equipment, controlling lights during the concerts, and collaborate with the artists technicians, as well as directing the volunteers. You will receive training and acquire knowledge about programming lights, rigging and much more! It may be an advantage to have previous experience as a light technician, but this is not a requirement. Do you want more experience of being a light technician, while meeting new people and making friends? Then this is the position for you!   • Do you want to create a good atmosphere during the revue! Then SC Sound Revue might be just the thing for you! The tasks involve setting up sound equipment and controlling sound during the performances, as well as directing the volunteers. The position requires someone who is solution oriented and enjoys collaborating with others. It is an advantage if you have some previous experience and are familiar with the sound table, but it is not a requirement. This is an incredible experience where you will meet many new people, you will gain a lot of experience, and the opportunity to call yourself a sound technician.   • Do you live for the great concert experiences, or do you want to be part of creating an unforgettable evening? Do you enjoy listening to good music, and perhaps you would like to learn more about what it takes to create a concert? By being SC Sound Concert, you get to help manage what happens and ensure that the concerts are carried out. The tasks involve setting up sound equipment, controlling sound during the concerts, and collaborate with the artists technicians, as well as directing the volunteers. The Operations Block

  • Are you a creative soul, or a practical thinker who sees smart and simple solutions? In the House Design team, we need both. Together, we will decorate the Samfunnet in Ås and ensure that it shows its best side during UKA in Ås 2026. We’re looking for positive people with drive and great ideas. SC, you will become CL's right-hand man. Therefore, you should enjoy brainstorming and taking responsibility.   • Are you a creative soul, or a practical thinker who sees smart and simple solutions? In the House Design team, we need both. Together, we’ll decorate Samfunnet and make sure it looks its absolute best during UKA in Ås 2026.
    We’re looking for positive people with drive and great ideas. As a House Design team member, you’ll help decorate Samfunnet in line with the themes and events taking place during both miniUKA and UKA.   • Do you want to contribute to UKA, and are you interested in organizing and working administratively? Then you are the one we are looking for for this important position! As SC personnel, you will, together with the other NKs, be responsible for tasks related to the people who will be volunteers, sending out contracts and other administrative tasks. With this position, you have a lot of time off during the UKA itself, which gives you the opportunity to join in on all the fun ;) This is an exciting and educational position, and we want you!   • Are you organized, service-minded, and care about the environment? That means that this role is perfect for you! As SC Logistics & Environment, you’ll be a key part of the machinery that keeps UKA i Ås running smoothly.

    In this role as Second in Command you can have responsibility for driving artists, transporting goods and equipment, and/or ensuring good environmental solutions during miniUKA and UKA i Ås 2026. You’ll work closely with the committee leader and contribute both physically and administratively; a perfect role for someone who likes to be responsible, take initiative, and learn more about leadership and organization.

    You don’t need any special experience or certificates; the most important thing is that you’re reliable, organized, and motivated to help the festival run seamlessly behind the scenes.

  • Are you passionate about practical leadership and organization? As the SC Carpenter, you’ll work closely with both the SC Carpenter and the Carpenter Offical. This position involves both hands-on and administrative tasks. It’s perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, keeping an overview, taking initiative, and stepping in to help where needed. You don’t need prior experience for this role what matters most is that you’re reliable, organized, and eager to help make UKA i Ås run smoothly.

  • Are you practical and enjoy working with others? Then this position might be perfect for you. As a Carpenter Offical, you’ll be an active contributor helping to shape UKA i Ås. In this committee, you’ll be doing a lot of carpentry, assembly, and repairs during miniUKA and UKA i Ås 2026. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. This is a great role for someone who enjoys creating something others can appreciate.

  • During choir weekend in Ås, over 500 student choristers from all over Norway come to Ås. This weekend includes singing Psilde breakfast and gala dinner among other things, and on top of this the guests expect surprises. As Second-in-Command (SC) during Choir Weekend, you will be involved in planning the weekend, in addition to being responsible for its execution, with help from the Guestbosses and your own funkises. We are looking for you who are organized and solution-oriented, and who can work independently and are able to think outside the box. The planning will take place in a team with representatives from all the Ås choirs, so knowledge of choir weekend is not required.   • We are looking for an engaged and hard-working individual for the position of Deputy Head of Rigging (NK Rigg). The role involves being second-in-command to the Head of Rigging (KS Rigg) and serving as their right hand in daily organization. This means you will take on greater responsibility related to planning, coordination, and leadership, while also being actively involved in the rigging work yourself. The main tasks include assisting the Head of Rigging with organizing and distributing tasks within the rigging team, as well as actively participating in rigging work, including setting up and taking down fences around the tents at Storebrand, setting up the loop area (“sløyfa”), and setting up tables and chairs in the tent at Storebrand. You will also help ensure that all rigging work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to plan. The rigging committee mainly does not work during the party evenings.

  • We are looking for motivated and hard-working individuals to join our rigging team. As a crew member, you will be an essential part of the team that ensures all equipment and areas are ready for use. You will work closely with the Deputy Head of Rigging (NK Rigg) and the rest of the team, contributing to efficient, safe, and high-quality rigging operations. The main tasks include setting up and taking down fences around the tents at Storebrand, setting up the loop area (“sløyfa”), preparing tables and chairs in the tent at Storebrand, and ensuring that the work area is always tidy and safe. The rigging committee mainly does not work during the party evenings

 

The Party Block

  • Do you love creating unforgettable party events? As SC-Host, you’ll be a key person in making the party events at UKA in Ås 2026 run smoothly. You’ll coordinate host-funkis, ensure their well-being, assign tasks, organize rotations, and give a quick instruction refresher before the evening kicks off. The Marketing Block

  • Do you want to help recruit nearly 1200 volunteers for UKA in Ås 2026? As a Recruitment funkis, you’ll help build the festival’s most important resource, its people. Your main task will be to run stands and take part in events to share the UKE spirit and spread information about volunteering opportunities at UKA. Together with the rest of the Marketing Team, you’ll make sure that UKA in Ås stays visible and engaging across campus. This role is perfect for someone who is outgoing, cooperative, and enjoys talking to people!

  • Are you creative, solution-oriented, and love getting things done? As SC Merch, you’ll be the right hand of the Committee Leader, and together you’ll create and sell the coolest merch for UKA in Ås 2026! You’ll work with everything from planning and budgeting to ordering and sales. You’ll also get to contribute ideas and be part of the hands-on execution.   • Are you positive, enthusiastic, and enjoy working in a team? As a merch funkis, you’ll be part of the team behind all the products sold during UKA i Ås 2026! You’ll help with setup, brainstorming, and sales — everything from sweaters and socks to mugs. Together, you’ll make sure everyone gets the chance to grab a lasting memory from UKA i Ås.   • Do you like speed and fun? Are you good at creating a good atmosphere and coming up with pranks? Then STUNT is something for you! During UKA n Ås, energetic, orange-clad STUNTS are needed who can help put the festival on the map. If you are one of those people who feel a little extra tingle in your body when you think of a festival, then you should apply for STUNT.

    As a STUNTfunkis, you get the opportunity to become part of a tight-knit group that comes up with lots of social activities together, both on and off campus.     As SC Photographer for UKA i Ås, you’ll be the head of photography’s right hand and an important part of the photo crew. You’ll help with planning, coordination, and follow-up of photographers, and of course, get behind the camera yourself to capture everything from concerts and parties to smaller events.
    You’re someone who takes initiative, enjoys teamwork, and steps in where needed. No prior experience with a camera is required, as training will be provided, but having some basic photo knowledge is definitely a plus.

  • Are you a positive and easy going person with leadership skills? As SC Trivsel, you will be responsible for leading other wellbeing coordinators during UKA in Ås. Your area of responsibility will be to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere both in the wellbeing room and out where the volunteers are working. If you want to go the extra mile to support your fellow volunteers, this is the position for you. 

  • An army marches on its stomach! The volunteers during UKA in ÅS are the ones who keep the festival running, and they deserve all the energy and positivity we can give them. As a wellbeing coordinator, you'll be part of the team responsible for spreading good vibes and making sure no one goes hungry or thirsty. Does this sound like the role for you? The Finance Block

  • As SC Bank, you will during festive evenings have the overall responsibility for funkis and assist them if necessary. In advance of miniUKA and UKA, you will receive sufficient training in the payment system.

  • As bank-funkis, you will work with another person, and together you will be responsible for the incoming cash flow during the event itself. This involves ensuring that terminals are operational, and assisting with technical problems. If you are diligent, responsible and technically inclined, bank-funkis will be the position for you!
