As NK DJ, you’ll help create the party—setting the mood with great playlists, taking song requests from the crowd, and keeping the energy high all night long. -
Would you like to help give the best impression of Ås to the artists who will come to play? Then you should apply for Artist funkis! As an Artist funkis, you will be responsible for backstage, serving food and drinks and you will be the link between the artist and the organiser. Would you like to light up UKErevyen 2026? Join the show behind the light table and apply for SC Light Revue. You will experience standing behind the lighting table and help create the atmosphere in the rom. The tasks involve rigging light equipment and controlling lights during the performances, as well as directing the volunteers. You will receive training and acquire knowledge about programming lights, rigging, and also a unique experience in the revue world! You will gain insight into the overall technical part of being a light technician. Do you want to create a good atmosphere during the revue! Then SC Sound Revue might be just the thing for you! The tasks involve setting up sound equipment and controlling sound during the performances, as well as directing the volunteers. The position requires someone who is solution oriented and enjoys collaborating with others. It is an advantage if you have some previous experience and are familiar with the sound table, but it is not a requirement. This is an incredible experience where you will meet many new people, you will gain a lot of experience, and the opportunity to call yourself a sound technician. During choir weekend in Ås, over 500 student choristers from all over Norway come to Ås. This weekend includes singing, Psilde breakfast, gala dinner and suprises among other things. As a choir weekend funkis, you will work during the choir weekend itself and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Most of the work takes place over one intensive weekend, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the rest of UKA i Ås. There will be a lot of people, so here you will get to test your ability to handle time pressure and ensure that everyone is well taken care of. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is organized, solution-oriented, service-minded, and who dares to make their own decisions. Familiarity with choir weekend is not necessary. We are looking for an engaged and hard-working individual for the position of Deputy Head of Rigging (NK Rigg). The role involves being second-in-command to the Head of Rigging (KS Rigg) and serving as their right hand in daily organization. This means you will take on greater responsibility related to planning, coordination, and leadership, while also being actively involved in the rigging work yourself. The main tasks include assisting the Head of Rigging with organizing and distributing tasks within the rigging team, as well as actively participating in rigging work, including setting up and taking down fences around the tents at Storebrand, setting up the loop area (“sløyfa”), and setting up tables and chairs in the tent at Storebrand. You will also help ensure that all rigging work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to plan. The rigging committee mainly does not work during the party evenings.

We are looking for motivated and hard-working individuals to join our rigging team. As a crew member, you will be an essential part of the team that ensures all equipment and areas are ready for use. You will work closely with the Deputy Head of Rigging (NK Rigg) and the rest of the team, contributing to efficient, safe, and high-quality rigging operations. The main tasks include setting up and taking down fences around the tents at Storebrand, setting up the loop area (“sløyfa”), preparing tables and chairs in the tent at Storebrand, and ensuring that the work area is always tidy and safe. To make the fantastic events during UKA i Ås possible, Crewfunkis play a crucial role. As a Crewfunkis, you will have a wide range of tasks throughout the evening. Your duties may include working in the cloakroom, conducting body searches, manning guard posts, or being front row during the coolest concerts. Shifts therefore vary from lively to more relaxed tasks, depending on what you prefer.
Crewfunkis is a large team, which means there are great opportunities to meet new people from different faculties. You can also apply together with your friends!
Without Crewfunkis, there would be no UKA i Ås — so bring your friends and apply to become a Crewfunkis!

The Marketing Block

Do you want to help shape the visual identity of Norway’s longest festival? Create everything from Instagram posts, posters, and clothing to large banners? Then you should become a Designfu nkis!
You’ll get to work creatively, experiment with design, and see your ideas come to life. This is the position for you if you enjoy creating, collaborating, and learning more about graphic design in a social and inspiring environment.
It’s an advantage if you have some experience with Adobe programs. This is a social and creative role where we work closely in teams.

Do you like design and layout? Do you want a creative position, but don’t feel like writing is quite your thing?
NK Ukemagasinet requires that you are good at combining creative visual ideas with practical solutions. Together with KS Redaksjon, you will have the main responsibility for how Ukemagasinet will look. Everything from layout to color selection will mainly be in your hands, and you will also help decide how much space the different issues will have in the magazine.
This is the role for you if you love visual design, are collaborative, and want to put a personal touch on a small part of UKA i Ås.

Are you passionate about well-written texts?
NK Text is the role for you who loves writing and enjoys collaboration and brainstorming. You will be responsible for features, and will be involved in deciding what the magazine will be about.
This is your role if you are creative, but at the same time have an understanding of what readers will find most interesting. Ukemagasinet is a collaborative project that requires that a shared vision is created. You will play a major role in this. At the same time, you will also take part in the same roles as the funkises, with production, editing and translation of texts.

As a member of the Editorial Committee, you are involved in producing Ukemagasinet and other longer articles for Uka i Ås.
Ukemagasinet is a place where you can leave your personal impression, and you actively participate in shaping the finished product. This involves writing, translating and editing text, as well as obtaining relevant images.
No previous experience with journalism is required, but it is recommended that you both enjoy writing and are prepared for feedback.

The butler is an important piece of the puzzle that makes UKA i Ås’s gala dinners! We are looking for a person who is responsible and a planner. As a butler you’ll plan various dinners, everything from the big Urmiddagen to smaller more intimate dinners. You’ll be the Second-in-Command for the gala dinners, where you’ll oversee the waiters, make the schedules for the dinners, while also be a contact person for the chefs. Do you want to be an important piece of the gala dinner puzzle? We will, during UKA i Ås 2024, have many different great dinners the guests will never forget. I need someone for the role of SC Stormiddag, where you’ll look after both guests and waiters. As SC Bar-Technical, you serve as the link between the bars and the storage. Alongside Sløyfa staff, you oversee Spritsløyfa during events. This involves bringing spirits and ingrediends to the bars and maintaining control over the inventory. You lead a team of Sløyfa Funkiser and work closely with other SCs (Second in Command), including the SC Bar and SC Stormiddag. As SC Bank, you will during festive evenings have the overall responsibility for funkis and assist them if necessary. In advance of miniUKA and UKA, you will receive sufficient training in the payment system.

As bank-funkis, you will work with another person, and together you will be responsible for the incoming cash flow during the event itself. This involves ensuring that terminals are operational, and assisting with technical problems. If you are diligent, responsible and technically inclined, bank-funkis will be the position for you!
