Do you want to help shape the visual identity of Norway’s longest festival? Create everything from Instagram posts, posters, and clothing to large banners? Then you should become a Designfu nkis!
You’ll get to work creatively, experiment with design, and see your ideas come to life. This is the position for you if you enjoy creating, collaborating, and learning more about graphic design in a social and inspiring environment.
It’s an advantage if you have some experience with Adobe programs. This is a social and creative role where we work closely in teams.

The butler is an important piece of the puzzle that makes UKA i Ås’s gala dinners! We are looking for a person who is responsible and a planner. As a butler you’ll plan various dinners, everything from the big Urmiddagen to smaller more intimate dinners. You’ll be the Second-in-Command for the gala dinners, where you’ll oversee the waiters, make the schedules for the dinners, while also be a contact person for the chefs. We are looking for you who are a problem solver, initiator and a service person! Does this sound like you, then join us in the admin block as a butler! Do you want to be an important piece of the gala dinner puzzle? We will, during UKA i Ås 2024, have many different great dinners the guests will never forget. I need someone for the role of SC Stormiddag, where you’ll look after both guests and waiters. You can expect to work alongside the butlers during the larger dinners, while having more independence during the smaller more intimate dinners. You’ll manage the waiters, the time schedule, and be an important piece of the logistics during the serving. Join us in the Stormiddags-gang, and let’s together make some unforgettable evenings! We will during UKA i Ås 2024 have many different dinners, everything from the great gala dinner Urmiddagen to smaller more intimate dinners. To this we are going to need waiters who are service minded and effective. Your main job will be to serve food and drinks to our guests, while being a part of a great team of waiters. As SC Bar-Technical, you serve as the link between the bars and the storage. Alongside Sløyfa staff, you oversee Spritsløyfa during events. This involves bringing spirits and ingrediends to the bars and maintaining control over the inventory. You lead a team of Sløyfa Funkiser and work closely with other SCs (Second in Command), including the SC Bar and SC Stormiddag. Do you enjoy having some extra responsibility to ensure that "Spritsløyfa" becomes a tremendous success during UKA in Ås 2026? Please contact  Jesper Strøm at barteknisk@ukaiaas.no. 

As a Sløyfe Funkis, you will help operate the Sløyfa by distributing beverages to the bars. Party nights are busy and fast-paced, with plenty to do. You’ll work closely with associations (foreninger) and the rest of the bar crew. This role is part of the Bar Technical Committee. Are you good at keeping an overview in hectic situations? Do you enjoy taking responsibility and working closely with others? Then SC Bar might be the perfect role for you!
As SC Bar, you’ll oversee the bars during event nights – making sure everything runs smoothly, that everyone behind the bar has what they need, and that they feel confident in their roles. You’ll be a key supporter for the bartending crew and help ensure everything flows seamlessly throughout the evening. Dedicated SCs are essential for a safe, efficient, and unforgettable UKA i Ås 2026 – and you’re guaranteed to make great new friends along the way!

Are you service-minded, a team player, and interested in everything that happens behind the bar? Looking for a social and fun position during UKA in Ås 2026? Then you should apply as Bar funkis!
As part of the bar team, you’ll help make every party night the best it can be. We’re looking for someone positive, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll serve drinks from different bars and collaborate closely with other volunteers.
Bar is an active committee, and you’ll also become part of the bar committee at Samfunnet i Ås – with great perks both during UKA i Ås 2026 and at Samfunnet’s events.

As SC Kitchen, you’ll be in charge of operations inside the kitchen during the festival evenings, leading the team with a steady hand. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the preparation of dishes runs smoothly and maintains the desired quality before they’re sent out to delight the energetic guests at Norway’s most exciting student festival.

Through this position, you’ll gain valuable experience in leadership, task coordination, and teamwork — and become part of the crew that makes the festival possible!
