  • We face many challenges and major changes in society. Student life in Ås is no exception. The studies are digitized, our oldest student housing at the Pentagon is to be demolished, Aud.Max. is to be closed and refurbished, and we are faced with a feeling that Ås-bubble will soon burst and that the world will end. Much has changed in 100 years, but the student spirit is still strong, nonsense and fanfare give us bright spots when things are tough, you meet resistance, and it looks dark - we need a break, we need entertainment The serious must be seen from a funny perspective! So stop freaking out! Buy a ticket and come to an all-nighter in Aud.Max. in October, with fun, seriousness, and everything in between!

  • Timbuktu
    Location: Aud.Max.

Jason "Timbuktu" Diakité, is one of Sweden's greatest hip-hop artists of all time. Since the first single release in 1996, he has performed both as a solo artist and in various other constellations. He has released around ten albums, been awarded numerous Gold and Platinum records, won eight Grammy Awards and four P3 Gold Awards.

Timbuktu is one of Scandinavia's most popular artists, and in recent years has also become well known outside the hip-hop milieu. He has established himself as an influential political artist who draws musical inspiration from folk music, American blues and music from West Africa and Jamaica. With hits such as "Alla vill till himmelen meinen vill die", "Det lazer sig" and "The bottom is reached" he is known for being able to create an incredibly festive atmosphere - but his music reaches more dimensions than that, something that became clearly already in 2011 when he was awarded the Nordic Council's language prize.

During his career as an artist, Timbuktu has achieved more than most. He has released a total of 10 solo albums (the latest of which, the equally incredible 'Du Gamla Du Nya' landed in 2021), won Grammys and P3 Gold and toured constantly in Sweden and Norway. He has also been a presenter for radio and TV programs such as P3 Hiphop, Musikhjälpen and Jasons Playlista.

In 2020, the acclaimed book 'En Droppe Midnatt' was also released, which eventually also became a well-known stage show with sold-out stops throughout Sweden. The show was also staged at the Harlem Stage in New York, USA to a full house.

Timbuktu's catalog is full of colorful songs and as anyone who has ever attended the rap legend's concerts can tell you, it's an extraordinary live experience. In the summer of 2023, Timbuktu went back to the roots of hip-hop with an incredible show with only turntables and microphones, this together with friends Julimar Santos, Esther Kirabo and DJ Large - and the success will also be repeated with a few selected gigs in 2024.

    Oscar Blesson
    Location: Festsalen

Oscar Blesson, raised in Holmlia in Oslo, has quickly made his mark as one of Norway's most exciting artists.

His debut album "we bleed in choir." has been streamed over 8 million times on Spotify. In addition, he sold out Parkteateret in January 2023, his first Norwegian headliner.
His collaborations with artists such as Tyr and Rambow have cemented his place in the Norwegian music scene. With hits like “Are you stupid?” and “Chanel”, and appearances at major festivals such as

Kadetten, Blåfrostfestivalen, FOMA, Ruller Hardt, Mela and by:Larm, Oscar has shown that he is here to stay.
But it is on stage that Oscar really comes into his own. With an energy that can only be described as electric, he takes the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions.

His ability to "own" the stage, combined with his authenticity and self-confidence, makes every concert an unforgettable experience. He is a master at creating an atmosphere that captures the audience from the first moment.
He alternates seamlessly between powerful rap verses, sensitive vocal parts, and intimate acapella moments. His ability to read the crowd and adjust the energy in the room is remarkable.
It is not uncommon to see audiences go from being deeply moved one moment to jumping with excitement the next.
Oscar understands that a concert is more than just music; it's a shared experience between artist and audience, and he makes sure that every person in the room feels seen and heard.
With several singles on the way and a new album planned for early 2024, Oscar Blesson is an artist who continues to impress and surprise.
